Trading often feels serious & individual, but what if it could be as thrilling & social as a sport? Inspired by the energy of the IPL, we created the Traders Premier League, a gamified campaign where users joined KOL-led teams, competed to grow team trading volumes, & unlocked a massive $1.5 Million prize pool.
Where we started
Problem statement
Futures trading had high potential but low excitement. Users lacked community, real-time visibility, and motivation beyond profit. For CoinDCX, this meant flat volumes. We needed to make trading feel like a tournament; fast, social, and rewarding!

Competitive Analysis
After looking at other similar products, we realised that there is a certain sense of coldness in the way most products behave and speak to their customers. platforms like Binance, MEXC Global, Coinbase and Walbi where rewards were mostly limited to referral campaigns or buried in promotions. Merging the excitement of IPL-style team competition with trading, this made competition, learning, and rewards a thrilling, habit-forming experience that boosted engagement and trading activity.

Breathing life in the content and designs
I wanted to make sure we take care of representation in the visuals and do away with the stereo types
that exist in the society via our designs.
Garnishing the experience with some zest..
To make traders feel more connected to the league and celebrate their milestones, we introduced Share Cards. These cards highlight interesting stats and showcase traders’ achievements, turning every trade into a moment worth celebrating.
Additionally, we added the Referral Pot Tracker journey at the top of the experience, letting users see the prize amount grow in real time. Together, these features make users feel closer to TPL, more engaged, and motivated to compete.
